ICS ENERGIETECHNIK was founded in 1989 as a sole proprietorship and has developed into one of the leading specialists for the planning and construction of biomass energy supply systems.
We built our first heat generation system in Murau / Austria in 1996. It is still used today by a renowned energy supply company, Energie Steiermark, to generate electricity and heat from biomass.
The construction of biomass heat generation plants was followed in 2000 by the first of many more biomass power plants. This then led to our decision to transfer the proven and long-lasting power plant technology with the associated high manufacturing requirements to the hot air generators and hot water boilers. Our first hot air generator with an output of 2.000 kW was put into operation at the Mitterer company in Austria in 2007 and is still in successful use today. Since then, we have regularly supplied energy supply systems for agriculture and industrial companies.
1989
Founding of a sole proprietorship for the development, planning and execution of municipal biomass energy supply systems
1993
Conversion of the company into a limited company (GmbH) due to the sharp increase in planning orders
1994
Project development, general planning, financing processing and participation as a shareholder (23 %) in the Murau and St. Egidi/Austria district heating. Investment volume: 3,6 million €
2000
Project developments, general planning and entry as a general contractor for the delivery of technical plant equipment for energy supply systems in the industrial sector
2002
Planning and construction of the first ICS biomass combined heat and power plant with 2,6 MW for the furniture industry as a general contractor in Poland
2004
Design and manufacture of special components that were missing on the market at the time in our own production facility in Wroclaw/Poland with approx. 50 employees (until 2015)
2007
Development, planning and production of the first prototypes of an ICS biomass hot air generation system with 2,0 MW for agricultural drying in Austria
2010
Project development, general planning, financing processing and participation as a shareholder (72,5%) in Energiepark Wiesmoor GmbH/Germany. Investment volume: 14,0 million €
2015
Project development, general planning and financing processing together with the Oesterreichische Kontrollbank AG (OeKB) for a biomass power plant project in Ukraine
2020
Project development and general planning for the construction of two biomass hot air generation plants with 14,5 MW in Spain and France, planned implementation: 2021-2023
