Food industry
The use of biomass boiler systems in the food industry is becoming increasingly important. Finally, CO2 emissions, the CO2 footprint and fuel costs are significantly reduced by using regionally available biomass. ICS ENERGIETECHNIK offers suitable energy supply solutions for a wide range of food processes. The use of environmentally friendly process steam, hot air or hot water ensures a long-term, crisis-proof energy supply. If necessary, the biomass systems are also combined with electrical power generation (cogeneration process) to enable the best possible use of the biomass fuels.

Wood industry
The wood industry is one of the classic applications of biomass energy systems. Although a variety of different processes and technologies are used in the production of wood products, energy supply from biomass and waste wood is almost always the best choice. ICS ENERGIETECHNIK has many years of experience in the wood industry and understands the challenges of its customers. By using wood waste generated directly from the production process, hot water, process steam, hot air and also electrical power are generated (combined heat and power), which can either be used for the production processes or fed into the public grid.

District heating networks
The planning and construction of boiler systems and biomass power plants for use in district heating networks forms the cornerstone of our company. Since it was founded in 1989, ICS has successfully commissioned over 60 biomass district heating systems and district heating networks as an engineering office or system manufacturer. With a total installed heat output of 250 MW and a district heating pipeline network of more than 100 km, we have sufficient experience to professionally handle district heating projects as a general planner or system supplier. The pioneering work that began back then in the development of environmentally friendly heating systems is still being perfected today.
